STORAGE UNIT with DRAWERS - 2 x White Painted Crates with Burnt wood shelves and genuine wine box drawers

Handmade in our own workshop in Hampshire, we have up cycled these standard 1960s European Apple Crates in to a very attract piece for the home.

The storage unit comprises of 2 white painted vintage Apple crates with a "burnt wood" shelf where we have gone over it gently with a blow torch to bring out the beautiful texture of the wood before adding it to the centre of the crate

We have then used 4 of the Six Bottle wine boxes, 2 of which we have left as standard and two boxes where we have added feet and dividers

With the two crates stood on top of each other as shown in the photo they measure 100cm tall x 40cm wide and 32cm deep.

These can be made to order and to which ever specification you require which you can select on this listing.

These are also very popular in shops to display their products on without the drawers also.

History of the crates:

Antique 1950’s and 60’s reclaimed apple crates, known as ‘Bushel Crates, These genuine vintage crates were in regular use up until recently, so they come with a rustic authenticity and no two boxes will be the same. Sizes vary slightly from batch to batch as you would expect with an original product sourced from an array of European farmers
